Ben liked making cakes.He helped Mummake a cakefor the school fair.

本喜歡做蛋糕。他幫媽媽為學校舉辦的集市做了一個蛋糕。

“It’s a big cake,” said Ben.

“這是一個大蛋糕。”本說。

“Thanks for helping me, Ben,” said Mum. “Here are some red cherries to go on the top.”

“本，謝謝你幫我做蛋糕。”媽媽說，“這有一些櫻桃，我們放在蛋糕上。”

They went to the school fairin the car, and they went inside with the cake.

他們帶著蛋糕，開車去參加學校的集市。

“Here you are,” said Ben. “Here’s a big cake.”

“給你蛋糕。”本說，“這是一個大蛋糕。”

 “Thank you,” said the girls.

“謝謝。”女孩們說。

Ben looked at the cakes.He looked atMum’s big cakewith the red cherries,and he looked at the little brown cakes.

本看著蛋糕，他看了看媽媽的有紅櫻桃的蛋糕，又看了看那些棕色的小蛋糕。

“Ben, please get a cake for tea,”said Mum.“I’m going to look at the books.”

媽媽說：“本，拿一塊蛋糕做茶點，我要看書了。”

Ben looked at all the cakes again ...

本又看了看那些蛋糕。

Ben and Mum went home in the car.Ben looked after the cake.

本和媽媽開車回家了。本負責看護蛋糕。

Ben opened the box.“Here you are, Mum,” he said.“Look!I got the best cake for you.I got the best cake at the fair.”

本開啟盒子。“媽媽，給你。”他說，“看吶，我把最棒的蛋糕給你了，這是集市上最棒的蛋糕。”

“I’m hungry,” said Ben.

“我餓了。”本說。

“Let’s have some,” said Mum.

“我們吃蛋糕吧。”媽媽說。
